There are 10 keys to succeeding in any business. Let me share with you what they are.
First of all, there are five types of entrepreneurs, and in order to have money flowing into your business, it’s crucial that you know which type of entrepreneur you are. There’s no right type or wrong type, but which type you are will make the different on the way money flows to you, so it’s important to know.
Secondly, you need to have 7-10 lead-generation systems going on at any given time. So, we believe in always having 10 easy, result-producing marketing tactics happening at any given time. Know what kind of entrepreneur you are, and have those 10 marketing tactics that produce results happening at all times.
Number three, you know how to practice win-win-win negotiation. That’s a negotiation that gets you the best deal, that sells what you need to sell, in a situation where everybody wins. You win, the person you’re negotiating with wins, and even the person they touch wins as well.
Number four, you need to know how to attract the people to your business that you want working in your business. So it’s about knowing how to attracting new team members who match you and are going to help you succeed while you help them succeed.
Number five, don’t waste cash. Have a system that shows you how to not waste cash. Know how to track the money that you’re spending and the return that it’s bringing back to you, and how to cut off the things that are costing you cash and increase the things that are returning cash. Pretty simple, right? There needs to be a simple formula in place for how to do that.
Number six, and here’s a key especially for the 21st century: know how to actually make money with social media. Don’t just have the Facebook profile or the Facebook fan page or whatever, but how to actually make money with social media.
Number seven, you need to know how to triple your income on a dime. You can do that when you know the five automated income strings that are sitting in your business right now. There’s cash hiding in your business right now. Do you know how to tap into it? If you use those five streams at all times, you can triple income at all times.
Number eight, so that any business can succeed, know how to turn your ideas into actual income. There’s information you already know that you’ve got a master’s in, at least intellectually or with life experience, and if you take those ideas and apply them to your business, they’re going to start increasing revenue for your business.
Number nine, know the only thing that’s standing between you and the life you want. Yes, even in this economy, and there’s only one thing. You need to know what that is.
Finally, number 10, there are three steps to being debt-free, and if you know what they are, you’ll end up being debt-free and so will your business. Actually, there are three keys to achieving any goal whatsoever. Step one is to know exactly what you want. Step two is to know what tools you need to use in order to get what you want. Step three is to take action. Too many goals are set and a solid plan may even be made, but then the goal never gets accomplished because we simply fail to implement our plan. Work your plan and your plan will work for you, helping you achieve exactly the financial (and other) goals you have for your business.
